City roll call

Revise

City bike lanes

We think they are great but far from perfect. Cab drivers accelerate through them; pedestrians wander aimlessly through them; delivery trucks and careless drivers park in them. How can we make bike lanes safer, more functional — different?

City bike lanes

by Martin Hull of IBI Group

1. Move parking lane to the other side of the road
2. Widen cycling lane by two feet; allow bike traffic to flow both ways
3. Place sticks to the left of the lane to prevent parking
4. Allow the party to begin

Solution: bike lanes
