Carol Coletta is president of CEOs for Cities, a national organization that connects urban leaders across the country to develop ideas about building and sustaining American cities. She also hosts a nationally syndicated public radio program called Smart City, which explores a range of urban issues from charter schools to greenways initiatives. In 2008 a European think tank named Coletta one of the world’s 50 most important urban experts. This year she has traveled the country on a Talent Dividend tour, visiting 24 cities and leading summit meetings with urban thinkers to highlight the link between increasing the number of residents with college degrees and improving local economies.
