The grass is much greener on the other side of the East River, where the perks of affordable housing in the Bronx will now include an outdoor amphitheater, rooftop gardens, apartments designed for breezes, and a fitness center, thanks to Via Verde, the winner of The New York New Housing Legacy’s first juried design competition.
