Over 900 attendees from 32 states attended the Summit for American Prosperity where policies were discussed and a network of cities formed. The agenda was the centrality of American cities as engines for economic prosperity.

Philadelphia Daily News reports: “Mayor (Michael) Nutter said yesterday that he wants to get presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to Philadelphia for a public discussion of urban issues before the April 22 Democratic primary ... Nutter said that issues affecting American cities haven’t gotten enough attention in the campaign. ‘Health care is very important,’ Nutter said. ‘The war is very, very important. A few weeks back I traveled to Loreto, Baja California Sur, the quaint home of Baja’s first mission. There I visited the Villages of Loreto Bay, eleven miles south of the town.
