TNAC nominated for Best Social/Cultural Coverage by Utne!

Hey all! The Next American City was just nominated for Best Social/Cultural Coverage by Utne Reader as part of its 2007 Independent Press Awards. We’re so stoked we’re practically jumping up and down on our desks.

Other nominees in the category were California, ColorLines, Dollars & Sense, Gastronomica, Greater Good, Guilt & Pleasure and Indian Country Today. UIPA winners will be announced in January 2008. If you’re in Minneapolis next week, come out and help us celebrate the nomination at our 5th Anniversary kick off party. So much to celebrate, so little time…
