Imagine discovering a city in 24 hours. Some of us
would likely visit traditional landmarks, others may choose lesser known locales. Maybe
you have friends or family to show you around. Regardless of your choice - you are
barely scratching at its surface. In the broadest sense, 24:Hrs is a roadtrip that hopes
to create a dialogue between our cities and their residents. More specifically we are
interested in how you experience your city. What is beautiful about it? Where is it ugly?
How is it changing? Our story is just one of many.
Next American City's next 24:Hrs takes place Saturday, Sept 20th in "The Ill Mill" -- Milwaukee, WI!
Check back soon for more info on our guides, musings and plans for Milwaukee. In the
meantime, check out our past roadtrips to New Orleans and
Philadelphia or submit
your own ideas for a 24:Hrs roadtrip in your city. Email 24@americancity.org.
